Fastigium - City at Night [Abludo Remix]

By Abludo on April 17, 2016 3:41 pm

I recently judged for the Best of LMMS Vol. 3, and my favourite song out of all of them was Fastigium's "City at Night" (Check the album out here!) - I loved the simplicity of a flanged flute sample being the foundations of the piece (I threw in my own flanged trumpet too). Being it's completely 100% native to LMMS, I figured I would take a break from external primary samples and go all native too. Thanks to that, it's also available to see the project file on the LMMS Sharing Platform.
All synths are Triple Oscillator (apart from one zyn pad you can't even hear). Made with LMMS.

Very nice song. Everything's really well layered, relaxing tones, enjoyed it from beginning to end.

I should probably use some presets more often.

this is blissful

Really good piece, specially considering that it's all native. LMMS is an excellent alternative which is not as bloated as, let's say, the (otherwise excellent) Native Instruments Komplete.

Kudos for the quality of the music and the effort!!!
